PILLARS OF OUR STRATEGY
ACTIVITY IS BASED ON THREE PILLARS
THE DEVELOPMENT OF A RESOURCE BASE
Sustainable strategy for acquisition of new resources is based on the following assumptions:
- acquisition of new resources through activities on the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) market and resultant mergers with mining companies owning assets in economically attractive geological resources,
- prospecting activities in the areas in the immediate vicinity of recoverable reserves in order to extend operational life.

The third pillar of the 2015-2020 Strategy aims to secure stable production
health and safety
Three pillars of the new KGHM Strategy are based on the four support strategies. They consist of the following:
- strategy for global organisation and competence development,
- financial strategy,
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy,
- energy strategy.
The global competition for resources is one of the largest external challenges. One of the answers is working on obtaining a competitive advantage - the intensification of research and development.
